Removing Personal Information from Google

Q: How do I, as a participant, remove my personal information from public facing Rugby Xplorer websites and app plus Google searches?

Individual - Rugby Xplorer Portal

• All Rugby Xplorer users can update their privacy settings, i.e. public or private.
• If you are set to "private", your name will appear as "Name Withheld" on public team lists in the Rugby Xplorer app and Rugby Xplorer websites. 
• Steps on updating your status to public or private is available here. 
• The change in status will only apply to future matches, it is not applied retrospectively.

Competition Admin - Admin Portal

• We recommend that competition admins "resubmit teamlist" for any players who have asked for their name to be hidden publicaly. 
• This can be completed via Competition Management > Matches > Click into match > Click "Submit Teamlist".
• This will ensure any changes to privacy have been impacted.
• DO NOT remove the player from the team list as this impacts player history, eligibility and insurance. 

Individual - Google

• Individuals can also request their name be removed directly with Google. Steps on this process are available here. 
• Rugby Xplorer Team can also submit to Google, please notify your national's customer service team.
