Name Withheld
Q: What does 'Name Withheld' mean on team lists?
- All individuals have the ability to control their privacy settings through their Rugby Xplorer Profile page.
- If the privacy status has been set to ‘private’, this makes your profile 'private' and means your name will appear as 'Name Withheld' on public team sheets and live results in the Rugby Xplorer App and on Rugby Xplorer websites.
Updating Privacy Setting
1. Sign in to Rugby Xplorer
2. Go to your profile
3. Under personal details change status to ‘Public’
4. Click update
5. Let your team admin know so they can re-submit the team list and your name will be displayed publicly.
The change in status will only apply to future matches, it is not applied retrospectively.
Note
- While your profile is marked as ‘private’, only admins for Rugby Xplorer and your team admin can see your information. It is the player's responsibility to manage their personal details.
- High level competitions may require a player to make their profile public, for example 1st Grade competitions and representative matches. Noting, the public will only see you name on the team list and player statistics (e.g. tries, conversions, penalties).
- Competition managers can also set privacy restrictions for competitions by choosing to display the competition, results, ladders and team lists for individual competitions. Younger age competitions generally do not display results or ladders publicly.
- If you aren't sure what your setting should be, please speak to your club. The Contact Report will identify to your club what your privacy setting is.
