Multi-Factor Authentication Login

Q: How do I, as a Rugby Xplorer user, login with Multi-Factor Authentication Login?
  • Rugby Xplorer has introduced multi-factor authentication, which means that users will need to login to their Rugby Xplorer Portal and/or Admin Portal with both their password and a verification code that is sent to their email or mobile.
  • All primary users with admin permissions will automatically be required to complete multi-factor authentication. However, all users, regardless of user permissions, have the option to turn on the multi-factor authentication.
  • By default, the verification code will be sent to the user’s email connected to their Rugby Xplorer account. Remember to check your junk or spam email if you don’t receive the email immediately.

To update your Multi-Factor Authentication method

  1. Log into Rugby Xplorer https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/ with email and password
  2. Check your email for verification code
  3. Enter verification code correctly and you will be directed to Rugby Xplorer Portal
  4. On ‘My Profile’ page scroll down to ‘Security’ (under Account Details)
  5. Select preferred method
    1. Get an Email
    2. Get a Text Message, enter verification code sent to your mobile
    3. Switch off Multi-Factor Authentication (this is only available for users with no admin user permissions)
  6. Click “Update”

Note

  • If the user enters an incorrect or invalid code they will receive an error message.
  • If the user enters an incorrect or invalid code too many times their account will be locked for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, they can try to login again.
