Referee Travel Distance Limit

Q: How can, I as a referee and/or appointment board admin, edit a referee's travel distance limit?

  • Referees are assumed to be available for all venues unless they add a travel distance limit (one-way) to their account. The travel distance limit (one-way) will default to "no limit". 
  • The Referee Club admin will need to assign the referee to an appointment board before they can update your travel distance limit.
  • Appointment Board Admins can add a referees travel distance (the same as an individual referee can add via the Rugby Portal).

To enter your travel distance limit (one-way)

  1. Log in to your Rugby Portal https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/ (not available via the app)
  2. Under Referee click 'Availability'
  3. Select your 'Travel Distance Limit (one-way)' from the dropdown
  4. Click "Submit"

Note, if you wish to be available for all venues and appointments we recommend you leave your travel distance limit at "no limit". 


Appointment Board Admins can edit a referee's travel distance limit in the admin portal

  1. Rugby Admin Portal > Appointment Board Admin
  2. Referees > Referees Availability
  3. Search and click into a Referee
  4. Select the 'Travel Distance Limit (one-way)' from the dropdown
  5. Click "Submit"
