Referee Appointment Notifications
Q: How can I, as an appointment board admin, notify referees of their appointments?
Appointment board admins can appoint referees and change appointments without referees being notified before they send the referee notification. There are two options for sending notifications by the appointment board admin:
- Individually, when appointing to a specific match, under Appointment Options, tick "Send notifications to referees" and click "Apply Changes".
- In bulk, Referees > Appointments page, select specific matches you wish to notify (first tickbox in the table), click "Send Notification".
When referees have been notified, a blue bell will appear next to their name. The other icons indicate:
- No response = yellow question mark
- Accepted = green tick
- Rejected = red minus
Note
- Referees can be notified of their appointments to ‘final’ matches and/or matches without teams, provided there is a venue for the match.

Example Referee Appointment Notification Update Email
- When a match is updated (teams, date, time, venue and/or status (forfeit, cancelled, postponed)) any notified referee will receive an updated referee appointment notification.
