Rugby Event Dispensations

Q: How do player dispensations apply for Rugby Events? 

Rugby Event Registrations

• National admins can choose to open specific age levels to allow players who are younger and/or older than the rugby event age level to register. Players outside of the age level will require an approved dispensation to be added to their member record before they can be selected on team lists for these rugby event matches. 
• Players should request and have an approved dispensation prior to registering for a rugby event. Players can register their dispensation via their Rugby Xplorer Portal > Consent Forms. 

Dispensation on Member Record 

• Rugby Event Entity admins can view and/or add dispensations on an individual's member record once they have registered (Members > Member Management). More information on this process is available in the 'Competition Admins Adding Dispensations to Member Record' help article. 
• Team Admins can see any dispensations added to an individual in their player card within the Match Day app. 

Rugby Match Day App

• Players who are outside of the age level of the rugby event will be unable to be added onto the team list in the Rugby Match Day app or the admin portal unless they have an approved dispensation added to their member record. 
• Error: "This player does not have a dispensation on their member record."
• Once all member assessments are marked as 'completed' and the player has an approved dispensation added, they can be selected on the team list as per normal processes.
