Rugby Event Team Pays Refund
- Team admins who have registered a team can see their “Team Registration History” in their Rugby Xplorer Portal. Teams that are eligible for a Rugby Event refund will have the “Refund” button next to them.
- Teams that did not pay and/or have paid with Zip Pay (in Australia) or selected offline payment (in New Zealand) cannot request a refund online.
- Only cash refunds can be requested for the team, as Rugby Xplorer credits cannot be applied to future teams.
Requesting Rugby Event Team Refund
- My Account > My Profile
- Expand ‘ Team Registration History’
- Registrations that are eligible for a refund will have a ‘Refund’ button next to them
- Click “Refund”
- Select Cash Refund as Refund Option Preference
- Enter ‘Reason’ for request
- Please provide as much detail as possible. This request will be sent to all entity admins, including your current club.
- Click “Request”
- Once submitted, the team will receive an email notification.

Processed Refund Requests
When the request has been processed, the team admin will receive an email with information on which components have been approved or declined.
Cash Refunds
Cash refunds will be refunded back to the team admin’s credit/debit card used at the time of registration and can take 5-8 business days to appear back in the account. Please check close to the original date of registration for the refund.
Zip Pay
- If you paid with Zip Pay in Australia, you can apply for a refund by completing the Rugby Australia Application for a Refund of Participation Registration Fees form and providing it to your event organiser. Your event entity will pass this form along to all relevant parties to approve/decline the request.
- Note: Rugby Australia do not stop your Zip Pay re-payments. You will be refunded the registration fee via your rugby event entity and you can use that refund to settle your debt with Zip Pay directly.
