Competition Cases
Q: How can clubs and/or competition managers create competition cases?
Rugby Match Day App Created Cases
Team admins will create the following competition cases through the Rugby Match Day app:
- Red Card
- Blue Card/Concussion
- Serious Injury
- Match Forfeit
- Match Dispute
Once the movement, forfeit or dispute is submitted by the team admin in the Rugby Match Day app email notifications are sent to the relevant team(s) admins, club(s) admins and competition managers.
These cases will also appear in the admin portal under Competition Cases (Competition Management > Competition Cases) plus movements also appear within the match feed (Competition Management > Matches > (H) Movements/(A) Movements).
Admin Portal Created Cases
- Club and Competition managers can also create injury cases in the admin portal that occur at training and/or other activity.
- Competition managers can also add cases for incidents such as red cards, citing and/or code of conduct breach.
- Please note, only club admin(s) and competition managers will receive emails for blue card/concussion, red cards, citing and/or code of conduct breaches for their own players.

The Competition Cases page includes two buttons:
- ‘All Competitions’ allows admins to select all competition cases with one click.
- ‘Case without Competition’ displays all cases that have been created by admins that are not related to a competition fixture.
- Names appearing for member competition cases and can be sorted alphabetically.
- All fields can be found using the "search" function.
