Step 4: Competition Team List Setup

Competition Management Steps

Q: How do I, as a competition manager, choose which team officials are required on Team Lists and whether or not this competition requires team officials to hold specific accreditations?

Team List Settings

Each time a new competition is created and rugby event is approved:

  • ‘Activate Team Lists’,
  • ‘Require Coach on Team List’, and
  • ‘Coach - Require compliance accreditations’ will be automatically ticked for all competitions.

When a team official is ticked with [Team Official] -  Require compliance accreditation and there are 'National Accreditation Requirements' added, competition managers do not need to add these accreditations. Competition managers can choose to add additional required accreditations.

Don't forget to click "Save".

Additional New Zealand Team List requirements

  • Junior competitions will also 'Require Team Manager on Team List' and 'Team Manager - Require compliance accreditations'.
  • Junior competitions will automatically add 'Police Vetting Submitted' accreditation for both coach and manager.
  • If 'Premier' competition sub-type is selected, then 'Require Front Row Trained Players' will also be ticked.

Additional Team Officials

  • Competition managers can also choose to require other team officials, as setup by their national, as mandatory for all team lists in their competition and add specific accreditations for this role.
  • Note, where multiple team officials are selected (for example, coach and manager), the team admin will be unable to submit their team list via the Rugby Match Day app, unless all team official roles are filled and these team officials have the required accreditations.
  • Each team official role can have a maximum of 3 individuals selected for this role.
